This is your Kin on Track News Flash coming to you from the Four Points Sheraton in London Ontario as we await the guest of honour, Dutch Van Moorsell, who we will be installing as a Life Member this evening.

In Old Business, we’d like to congratulate our newest Life Member Harry Fry from the Chatham Kinsmen Club.

For the Good of Kin:

Upcoming Anniversaries coming up prior to our next Kin on Track News Flash include the Belgrave Kinsmen who celebrate their 46th anniversary on November 5, and the Stayner and District Kinsmen club who also celebrate 46 years on November 18.

We’d like to congratulate the Ridgeway Crystal Beach Kin Club on their recent relaunch. Energized and ready to serve, they had their first meet and greet mid October inclusive of 12 plus new members. Welcome back. The future looks bright!

This year District 1 pledged 150 units to Canadian Blood Services. Friends and family are encouraged to join as part of our partners for life program. To date as of October 26, District 1 has pledged 80 units towards this goal. You only need to give the ID number once for all future donations to be counted. ID number is KINC110223. Remember, it’s in you to give.

Upcoming Events:

• Next weekend – The Windsor Family of Kin welcome you to Valhalla – FLC 2023. We hope to see you there.
• November 4th is the 2nd annual Christmas Market hosted by the Clinton and District Kinette Club
• November 11th is the Darlene and Brianne Gardhouse Kinspiel hosted by the Chesley Kinette Club, and The Enchanted Evening hosted by the Listowell Kinette Club
• November 12th is the interclub Dart tournament hosted by the Grimsby Kinette Club
• November 15th is the Kin important deadline for many HQ requirements including:
  • The 2023-2024 National Dues Billing
  • Criminal Record Checks for Club Presidents and Club Treasurers
  • Proof of Annual Incorporation Filing for 2022
  • Insurance Reporting Form
  • And Optional Accident Benefit Insurance Opt In for Non Member Volunteers
• November 16th is the Sip and Hop hosted by the Drayton Kinette Club
• November 24th is the Mens Steak Night hosted by the Chesley Kinsmen Club
