Zone B

2024-2025

2023-2024

  • Zone B Deputy Governors LeeAnn Summers & Kim-Marie Lesperance

This is my second term as Deputy Governor for Zone B. I love being a part of the Kin family.
I am a member of the Palmerston and District Kinettes, I joined for a way to get out of the house and be more involved in the community, but in turn have made some pretty amazing friendships along the way.
I want to be the best support person for the club's in my zone and hope to mentor a new DG for the following year's.

Lee- Ann Summers

I have been a proud member of Kin Canada since 2011, when I was a charter member of the Kinette Club of Centre Wellington.
I transferred to the Kinette Club of Palmerston and District in 2019 and am still there (they let me stay for some reason).
So, at a club level, I've held positions of CF/ Service Director - VP - President - treasurer.

At the zone level, I have been a DG.... and I'm glad to have been invited back into this role.

District level, I was blessed, in my opinion, to have been given the opportunity to work together with Debb (Flagg) in 2020/21 as a CF/Service Director.

I am Mom to 3 of the world's best daughters, I have an awesome son in law and 1 in training.
I've been given the title "Dramma" Kimmy, by my littlest baby girl, my granddaughter who is 7, going on 17.

Due to recent surgery to repair an old injury, I am currently changing career paths. My body will not allow me to continue as a Personal Support Worker.
Who would have thought that at 49 years old, I would be applying to go back to school?!

If you've been lucky enough to meet Stephen, you know how lucky I am to have him (his 2 daughters and son in law) in my life.

This is Kim, in a nutshell

2022-2023

Here we are well in to spring and almost the end of a term.
The clubs in Zone B have been working hard getting back on their feet this year.
Belgrave has been busy with breakfast fundraisers this winter and a Prom night coming in June.
Harriston Kinsmen hosted a curling bonspiel and just did their annual tough truck event which is fun for all ages.
Drayton Kinettes pulled off another successful Ladies night in April.
Drayton Kinsmen, after waiting for 3 years they finally got to host their annual Farm Show.
Fergus Kinsmen are back on their feet thinking of ways to raise funds for their community.
Centre Wellington Kinettes are busy recruiting and brain storming some new events.
Palmerston Kinettes just finished a fun Paint night.
Monkton Kinsmen are getting ready for their annual Horseshoe tournament in June.
Lucknow Kinettes hosted an Easter egg hunt at Easter.
Lucknow Kinsmen are ramping up their Music in the fields event in August.
The Listowel Kinettes are having a Spring Vendors Market and a Ladies night in May.
The Listowel Kinsmen had their famous Paddyfest in March.
Its been a great learning experience being a DG this year. I've got to meet many new people and make new friends along the way.
I am coming to the end of my term as Deputy Governor this year and Leeann will carry on as your DG. I wish her all the luck and I know the clubs in Zone B will give her all the support she needs.
Thanks to all my fellow Kin for your support.
DG Ray Kuper

It's a slow start to the new year but some clubs are taking off and getting right in to their new Kin year.
This year will be challenging but I am sure we can get through it.
Even though most projects and huge fundraisers are put on pause, a few clubs are still getting out in to the community with small fundraisers that are manageable and still go with in public health guide lines.
We are all in this together. Stay strong, and believe in kin.
