Hey everyone I'm Martina I live in Ridgeway Ont , with my fabulous husband and our fur babies. I'm in my 4th year as a Kinette. I hit the ground running holding the secretary position in my home club for 2 years in a row and look forward to furthering my skills on the district team next year . My favorite part of Kin is the family and friends I have made and gained so many experiences and grown as an individual. I am hoping to carry on the great job that Carol started last year and keep the events calendar up to date with all the goings on around the District. For me to do that I do need you to send me the information about what is going on.

Welcome to October fellow Kin!

The Fall Edition of Kinship 1 is posted online. Due to some
unforeseen circumstances we have adjusted the schedule slightly and the Fall Edition will be an online edition only.

I hope you enjoy the read and remember to send along items for inclusion for the Winter Edition to me.

Welcome to a new Kin year.

Kinship 1 " Fall Edition " is currently being worked on. It is a printed edition and will be in your club mailboxes or distributed to you by your Zone Deputy Governor before the end of September.

The online version will be posted as soon as it is completed.

Slight change to our last 2 Kinship 1’s

Spring Print Issue will now be an online edition.
Deadline for submissions will remain at March 1st.
(will be out as soon as possible after that )

Wrap up Online Issue will now be a printed edition. Deadline is being moved up to Monday May 9th.

It will be a printed edition and will be added to some other District mailing materials for distribution before the end of May.

I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you the membership.

Countdown is on !!

Sunday June 1st is the deadline for submitting for the
" Summer Edition " of Kinship 1.

The focus will be " Projects "

I will be looking for input on Club Projects; big or small, editorials, pictures, successes ( big or small )

April and May were/are busy months for a lot of clubs and it is a great opportunity to share some of the things clubs do that work for them for other clubs to see and maybe think about doing in their club/community.

As well I am looking for pictures from your Zone Conferences, Spring Convention, any celebrations that you have attended or might be attending in the coming weeks etc etc.

I encourage you to visit the Awards page; District Award package 2013-2014 for the criteria for the Bulletin Awards and use that as your template to generate content, interest, information, education and news from all levels of our Association.

Club Activities posted in your bulletin; such as reports on socials and reports and updates on projects is a great opportunity to save time on your club meeting agenda and have more time available for fun and fellowship.
