Kin on Track Newsflash - June 26, 2024

This is your Kin on Track News Flash coming to you from the Wallaceburg Kinsmen Bingo.

We’d like to give a huge shout out to every Club who got us to 100% service reporting. By a rough estimate District 1 did approximately 24,506 hours and $1,678,457.41.

In Old Business, We’d like to congratulate the following Clubs who’ve celebrated their charter Anniversaries since our last Kin on Track News Flash: May 26 the Tillsonburg Kinette Club (34 years), May 28 the Teeswater and District Kinsmen Club (37 years), May 29 the Meaford Kinsmen Club (72 years), and May 30 the Drayton Kinsmen Club (56 years).
June 15 the Fort Erie Kinsmen Club (82 years), June 16 the KW Kinette Club (81 years) and the Shelburne Kinsmen Club (65 years), June 19 the Chesley Kinette Club (31 years) and the Port Dover Kinsmen Club (65 years), June 21 the Shelburne Kinette Club (64 years), June 22 the Elgin-St.Thomas Kinette Club (11 years), June 25 the Dorchester and Area Kinsmen Club (48 years).

For the Good of Kin:

Upcoming Anniversaries coming up prior to the end of our term on June 30th include: June 27, the Leamington Kinsmen Club (80 years), and June 29 the Listowel Kinsmen Club (76 years).

This year District 1 pledged 150 units to Canadian Blood Services. Friends and family are encouraged to join as part of our partners for life program. You only need to give the ID number once for all future donations to be counted. ID number is KINC110223. Remember, it’s in you to give.

Have an event coming up, where you will be serving alcohol? Don’t forget about District 1’s Cystic Fibrosis fundraising beer. Described as an outstanding lager, $10 from every case is donated to Cystic Fibrosis research. Contact your District 1 service team for details.

A big thank you to all Clubs who have already submitted their 2024 National Convention Accredited Delegate (AD) Form to credentials [snail] kincanada [period] ca!

If your Club has not yet submitted your AD Form, please ensure you do so by July 15, 2024. AD Forms submitted after the deadline will not be accepted.

Don't forget! Your ADs and AADs do not have to travel to National Convention in order to participate in the business of our Association on Saturday, August 17, 2024! They can opt to participate via Zoom and still hold your Club's voting card!

All voting (other than "show of hands" votes) will be completed digitally using the Simply Voting platform - regardless of whether your AD and AADs opt to attend virtually or in person. However, completion of the AD Form by the deadline and the Credentials Registration process is required in order to vote.

Let’s have EVERY Club's vote represented at Kin Canada’s 2024 AGM this year!
