Today we were fortunate to join Zone F in Delhi for a BBQ celebrating their engagement award win.
In Old Business, we’d like to congratulate the Flamborough and District Kin Club on celebrating their 46th anniversary on September 9 and the Collingwood and District Kinsmen on celebrating their 4th anniversary on September 12
For the Good of Kin:
Upcoming Anniversaries coming up prior to our next Kin on Track News Flash include the Stoney Creek Kinsmen who celebrate their 69th anniversary on September 21, and the Guelph Kinette Club who also celebrate 69 years on September 22.
Congratulations to our newest District 1 National Director who was voted in at National Convention 2023 in Leduc Alberta ... our very own Debbie Flag, from the Kinette Club of Fort Erie
Additional congratulations are extended to interim executive director Carmen Preston on being bestowed the honor of a Hal Rogers Fellow for her 35 years (and counting) of dedication to Kin Canada.
Collectively from coast to coast Kin Raised $25,083,327.00 and gave 380,449 hours of their time in the last Kin year.
A huge shout out to all Award participants and winners. We will see you at the podium in November.
This year District 1 pledged 150 units to Canadian Blood Services. Friends and family are encouraged to join as part of our partners for life program. To date as of September 10, District 1 has pledged 65 units towards this goal.
You only need to give the ID number once for all future donations to be counted. ID number is KINC110223. Remember, it’s in you to give.
Upcoming Events:
Tomorrow, September 17 the Listowel Kinsmen Club is hosting a charity classic, and District 1 Kin on Track is hosting their online Club Leadership Seminar from 1-3pm. The Zoom link can be found pinned to the top of the District1 Facebook Page.
September 30, the Walkerton Kinette Club is hosting their Fairytale Fest Tea Party, and the Harriston Kinsmen are hosting their Minto Tuff Truck Event
