Zone D Highlights
Niagara on the Lake
Participated in a toy-food collection for Newark Neighbors at the Kin hall Dec 2nd. The NOTL Christmas Parade was on Dec 8th - they had a float in it ,Kin as one of the Judges and sponsored a band. On Dec 14th they had their Christmas dinner at Caroline Cellars Winery and did a life membership for Harold Dyck!
Fonthill Kinsmen
On December 12 at the New Arena on highway 20 in Pelham, they held their Seniors Christmas event which has been serving the community for 57 years (since 1961)!
Grimsby Kinettes and Kinsmen
Participated in the Christmas hamper program – which provides food to those in need at the holidays. They also handed out hot chocolate in the Grimsby and Smithville Christmas parades. Additionally they had their Kinsmen and Kinette Family Christmas where both clubs come together for a beautiful turkey dinner, fellowship - with even Santa stopping by to hand out some presents to the little ones!
