The Kinette Club of Wasaga Beach meets on the 1st Tuesday of the month for Executive meetings, and the 3rd Tuesday of the month for General meetings.

6:30pm social, 7:00pm meeting start.

There are always really great things happening in Wasaga. Here are a few project/event highlights for the year. If you wish to come out and find out what we are all about, please contact us at the email address below.

Annual Yard Sale for Cystic Fibrosis

The first weekend in June marks the time we host our Yard Sale for Cystic Fibrosis, raising over $25,000 for CF over the past 10+ years!

This project is made possible from the wonderful support and donations from our community members. Come out between 8am-3pm and find some great treasurers, all the while supporting Cystic Fibrosis.

Toys for Kids Campaign

This amazing Christmas campaign was started to ensure the children & young teens of our community, facing tougher times, were remembered at Christmas. This is an annual service project focusing on giving back to those that are so deserving. Running for over 25 years, Toys for Kids has helped upwards of 6,000 children and young teens.

Donations of new unwrapped toys, gift cards or cash come in through hampers placed out local stores & generous donations through businesses & community organizations.

Raffles & 50/50 Draws

Over the course of a Kin year we host various raffles and 50/50 draws, with proceeds going to specific projects such as the Toys for Kids campaign or to other community organizations such as Hospice, women & children’s shelter & our community arena.

SO many other projects to mention:

• Volunteering at the Blood Donor Clinics held at the Wasaga RecPlex
• Clothing drives for Kidney Clothes
• Boxed Lunches project ran twice a year to raise funds for community projects
• Catering or running the bar for Celebrations of Life, weddings, town events such as the Remembrance Day service, Major’s Luncheon & community markets
• Adopt-A-Road road clean-up twice each year
• Sponsoring of community swims at the YMCA
• Volunteering with Walk a Mile in Her Shoes charity event
• Supporting Village of Hope with donations to be given to the homeless

It’s been an exciting Kin year so far and we look forward to welcoming new members & continuing to give back to our wonderful community!
