Hi everyone. A bit late (almost a year and a half) on getting this up, but better late than never.

My name is Cam. I was born and raised in St. Thomas. I moved around quite a bit during university (Waterloo, Aylmer, Collingwood, Peterborough, London, Tottori and Kyoto) and more after I graduated (Toronto, Osaka, Nagoya and Novi) before finding my way back to St. Thomas in 2005 and have been there (mostly) since.

I have spent most of my working life in automotive... plant engineering, quality, tool design, part design, program management and operations.

I joined the Kinsmen Club of St. Thomas in 2011, 2012 and 2013 (it's complicated), because I wanted to give back. When I my kids were old enough, I took them to the Kinsmen Easter Egg Hunt as my parents did with me and my sister when we were young (although at that time I didn't know who or what the Kinsmen were). Seeing my kids having fun for free (not an easy thing nowadays) made me realize how great the event was and how important for the community... and how I wanted to be part of helping it continue.

I have spent most of my time in Kin as my club's secretary and chair of our fireworks sale, in addition to a couple of years as president.
