What you'll need to know for the weekend:

Drum roll, please! Here are the breakout sessions planned for FLC this year. There are 9 (count 'em, NINE) different sessions over 3 time slots.

Those Young Whippersnappers!
Are you struggling to integrate younger members of Kin in your club? Come hear from this panel of seasoned members from successful, multi-generational clubs. They’ll share their stories about where they started, what struggles they had along the way, and how they got to where they are now.

Stress Management
We all have full, busy lives, which can get really stressful. Come find out some tips for preventing stress, and techniques for dealing with stressful situations.

Fire Extinguishers 101
Does your club cater, run barbeques, or camp? Do you know what type and size of fire extinguisher you need to have, and how to use it? Come participate in this hands-on session with the London Fire Department.

Is Everyone Welcome?
We like to think of our clubs as friendly, but will everyone really feel welcome? This is a fantastic, thought-provoking workshop that will get you thinking about all types of diversity, and how prepared we are to include new members of different backgrounds and abilities.

Project Planning for Success
Ever had a new idea for a project, but didn’t know what it would take to get it off the ground? Come find out what to include in a project proposal, and what questions to answer to be prepared for a successful event.

November 15th is coming…
Struggling with your club’s T2, incorporation papers, or insurance reporting? Bring your club’s reviewed and approved financial statements, the information for your corporate annual return, and the login information for insurance reporting. We’ve got people on hand who will take you through the steps to get it done.

You Oughta Know
Coolant, tire pressure, jumper cables, Class 3 hitch – do you what these are, why they’re important, and how to use them? What are the regular checks you should be making on your vehicle or club trailer? Come join our on-site mechanic for a hands-on workshop.

Fun & Effective Meetings
Everyone talks about how important they are, but how do you actually get there? Learn how to balance Rules of Order with fun and fellowship for a meeting that gets the business done in a way that everyone enjoys the time together.

Raising your PR Profile
You’re doing great things in your club, but are you still your community’s best-kept secret? It’s time to come out of hiding and let your neighbours know what you’re doing, and that they really want to join you! Learn how to combine websites, social media, newspapers, and other opportunities to let people know who you are and what you’re doing.
