Club Support Director is a very different portfolio for me, but I look forward to meeting and helping many Kin through out the year.
For those who don't know me well, a bit of background of my Kin life. I joined Kin as a Formation, yes Formation not Charter, member of the Palmerston and District Kinette Club in 1985. My almost 30 year Kinette career has taken me many places, provided experiences I would never have had, and best of all expanded my Kin Family to include members from coast to coast. I have served as Deputy Governor several times and have been part of 3 District Executives. Expanding my experience and my comfort zone, I entered into the National realm as Kin CF Liaison for 2 years and then joined the National Board of Directors for a 3 year term. All of these "beyond the club" experiences have have taught me one basic lesson: We all have a common thread that joins us as family in Kin, but as in all families, there are many differences making each of us unique. Unique threads make a beautiful tapestry!
