Meet Your Vice Governors Candidates Paul and Lori
Hello Fellow Kin.
Allow us to take a minute of your time and introduce ourselves. We are Paul and Lori Schnarr of team PUMP UP KIN and we are running for Vice Governor for the 2023 – 2024 Kin year.
Paul is a Listowel Kinsmen and has been a proud member of Kin for over 10 years. He has served as Registrar, Bar Chair and President in his club. He has also served as Zone B Deputy Governor twice.
Lori is a Palmerston Kinette and has been a proud member of Kin for over 10 years as well. She has served as CF/Service Director and Treasurer at the club level. She has served as the Zone B Awards Director, Treasurer and Deputy Governor as well as District 1 Awards Director and Secretary.
We chose the name PUMP UP KIN because that is what we intend to do, get District 1 Pumped Up and having a great time in our communities. We feel one of the best ways to do that is thru member engagement. Keeping current members engaged is integral to growing and strengthening the association.
We know that engagement means different things to different people and we want to find what those ways are and to do our best to make sure that each and every member is getting what they need.
Members who are active and invested in what they are doing are more likely to reach out a hand and bring someone along with them, to invite a friend to come along and share in the fun they are having. When members feel engaged in all levels of the association, or even just the levels they want to be active in, they are happier to invite people to join them.
In order to help our members feel engaged, we want to find out from you, the membership what makes YOU feel involved and expand on it to all areas of the district. Engagement is not just fellowship or education; engagement means different things for different people. We need to be able to fulfill each members needs to help them stay involved and plugged in.
