November 7th Zone G held our 2nd annual Cystic fibrosis information interclub night hosted by the Dover Kinsmen club. This is an event where all the clubs in our zone and some from other zone come together for a night of fellowship and fun while we learn a little more about CF and reinforce why it's so important for clubs to raise money for CF Canada. Our guest speaker for the evening was Chris Beausoleil, who is a member of the Tilbury and District Kinsmen club and has CF. He spoke to us about his daily struggles with CF and the things he has to do in addition to going to work everyday, explaining that the things he has to do to stay as healthy as possible is equivalent to a part time job. We also take the opportunity to fundraise for CF, the Chatham Kinsmen clubs ran a 50/50 draw and we also had many donations to auction off. We were able to raise $1366.45 on the night and we had 100% attendance from the clubs in zone G and the Windsor Kin club from zone H came for the fun. It was a great night of fellowship and FUNdraising!!
