Home ~ Welcome to District 1 Kin
Kin Canada members are a diverse group of men and women of all ages and backgrounds that come together on a regular basis to "Serve the Community's Greatest Need".
By doing so, members experience the satisfaction that comes with personal involvement.
There are nearly 400 Kinsmen, Kinette and Kin clubs from coast to coast making up more than 4600 members nation wide. District One consists of 75 Kinsmen, Kinette and Kin Clubs in Southern / Southwestern Ontario, led by Governors Lori Schnarr and Paul Schnarr.
Our founder, Hal Rogers (1899-1994), organized the first Kinsmen meeting of 11 young men on Feb. 20th, 1920 at the Namking Cafe in Hamilton, ON.
Since that day, Kinsmen & Kinettes foster a proud 104 year history of serving our communities and Cystic Fibrosis.
To date Kin have donated close to $48 million dollars to Cystic Fibrosis research and over $1 billion to Canadian communities.
