Kinsmen Club of Dorchester

Dorchester & Area Kinsmen Club. P.O. Box 44. Dorchester. ON. N0L 1G0
mikepoels@sympatico.ca

We meet on the first and third Thursday of every month at the Community Center, in the Meeting Room, at 7:00 pm.

The Kinsmen are an all Canadian Service Club that is dedicated to serving the greatest needs of the community. The greatest need in any community is to continue to function and thrive as a community. All to often towns and villages become bedroom communities where people live, but seldom participate. This is not the case in North Dorchester, due in large part to the efforts of the Kinsmen and other local service clubs.

This principle of encouraging the community to gather as a community is promoted by the Kinsmen. We also provide the community with many long term facilities, such as the pathway through the main park, the Community Tennis Courts, the Boy Scout Pavilion and large Portable at the local camp, Camp Bel and many more projects.

As a national organization, we support the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation extensively. Locally, we are helping to support a CF patient who is currently in the Lung Transplant Programme.

We meet on the first and third Thursday of every month at the Community Center, in the Meeting Room, at 7:00 pm. Our meetings include an outstanding meal. Everyone is welcome!

Our major fund raisers include:

Bingos
Nevada Tickets
School BBQ's
