HOW HONOURED WE ARE ....

Spring Convention was an amazing time for our club. We were honoured to bring home the Governors Award recognizing our 26+ year commitment to Daffodil Days in our Community; the District One Kevin Denbok Award (Club); the District One Joke-Off Award (Michelle Federer & Monika McKean); the District One Kinette Quill Award (Janet Currie); the District One Public Relations Award (thank you Barb McArthur for your commitment to this submission); and the District One Junior Bulletin Award (Monika McKean, Editor).

We had a wonderful time at convention and these acknowledgements were the icing on the cake! Thank you also to District One who made our visitor from Germany feel a part of this great family.

GRACELAND NORTH 2010 -- FALL LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE

The Kinette Club of Collingwood will be hosting District One Kin at the beautiful Cranberry Resort on November 5th, 6th and 7th, 2010 for our FLC, GRACELAND NORTH!!

We are looking forward to seeing old faces, making new friends, and learning more about ourselves and the Association throughout this learning weekend.

Don't forget the incredible early registration incentive including two sets of reserved green seat tickets AND lodging at Cranberry for the 2011 Elvis Festival in Collingwood. GET YOUR REGISTRATIONS IN SOON! Early Deadline is October 1st to qualify AND we'll accept your registrations NOW with a post-dated cheque.

IT'S BACK ..

Our second annual Kinette Club of Collingwood Golf Tournament will be held on Saturday August 14th, at beautiful Duntroon Highlands. Registration will be $100 per golfer. Please download the attached poster and registration form and submit soon! Last years' event was wonderful, and this year we are hoping for better weather to make it an even more fun event!

COLLINGWOOD KINETTE CF AWARENESS EVENING

The Collingwood Kinettes are hosting a CF Awareness night on Thursday May 20th, at the Orange Lodge Hall, 33 Simcoe Street, Collingwood.

If you would like to attend this event, please contact President Monika at mmckean@rogers.com by Sunday May 16th to book your meal.

Special guest speakers for this event are Past District One Service Director LM Brenda Dineen and Nancy Denbok, sister of Kevin.

This will be a great evening you won't want to miss.
