Rob was born and lived with his grandparents in the city of Toronto until the ripe old age of 8. He then moved on to the lovely city of Brampton. His education was diverse and included a French Catholic school. By the way French was his first language, but unfortunately he has lost most of his ability to speak French, along with a good pair of shoes, his wallet, and the cat on one occasion. Rob is an excellent cook and has his Chef’s papers to prove it, but he only cooks at home for his lovely family. He works for a generous employer as a developmental support worker. He says this enables him to have a better understanding of the complexities of life.

Rob is a member of the Kinsmen Club of Shelburne and has been in Kin since October of 1995. Over the past 14 years he has held many executive positions in the club and is an active participant in all fundraising activities and committees. Rob has been honoured with the Kinsmen of the Year award, Rookie of the Year award, Outstanding Kinsmen Deputy Governor, and with his Founders Award.

Rob met his wonderful, super, extraordinary, gorgeous, wife (gee can you tell who wrote this bio, actually I just type and he dictates so he really does think that) a mere 24 years ago. Together they have two great kids, Joshua and Kayla. Joshua just went off to his third year away at university. He wants to be a special education teacher, having found a special interest in this after working the summers with his parents. Rob and his lovely wife Odette are first time 'empty nesters' as Joshua is away in Thunder Bay and their daughter Kayla has gone off to her first year of college in Belleville. She is studying photo journalism, so watchout Kinship One.

Rob is a rather reserved gentleman, you will hardly hear a peep from him unless it is in the hospitality suite, after a busy weekend, and he decides to sing “It’s Raining Men”; just ask him about it and I am sure he will be glad to tell you all about it.
