- Born in Toronto
- Grew up in Etobicoke
- Was active in Girl Guides from Brownies right through Rangers, and received my Canada Cord
- Went to Trent University in Peterborough and majored in Native Studies
- Received my B.Ed. from the Saskatchewan Indian Federated College at University of Regina
- My first real job was teaching on Walpole Island Reserve (Sarnia/Chatham area)
- I lived in/near Wallaceburg while teaching on Walpole
- I joined Kinettes in Wallaceburg in 1992
- In September of 1994, I moved to Victoria, BC there I was a member of the Juan de Fuca Kinette Club
- In August of 1995 I moved back to Ontario, where I joined the Stoney Creek Kinette Club
- I was Zone CF/Service Director for Wendy Rolfe in 96 but had to resign at the half way point in the year, as I got a teaching job in New Zealand
- I moved to New Zealand for 1 year while there, I tracked down a long lost branch of our family tree (an absolutely amazing experience)
- When I returned in December of 97, I rejoined the Stoney Creek Kinette Club
- I was Zone Deputy Governor in 2000-01, with Tony Rajotte as my Kinsmen counterpart
- In May of 1998, I got a job working at the Art Gallery of Ontario
- I was a member of the Hal Rogers Endowment Fund Board of Trustees for three years, and was Chair in my final year
- From 2003 - 2006 I worked at De Beers Canada Corporation as the Human Resources Administrator
- I am currently Manager, Human Resources/Training & Development for the Canadian Red Cross
- I love to read (though really miss my time on the GO train where I used to do a lot of my reading), bake, scrapbook, and to spend time with my friends
- One of the highlights of my Kin Career was being a part of the Oakville Kinette Club Charter
- Loved my year as Governor with Earl Cabana
- I am currently the National Education Committee Chair for Kin Canada
