And now, the time has come ... !

Our year has come to an end, and what a year it was. If you have ever considered serving Kin on a district level, go for it. It is a very rewarding experience.

Sometimes when you stay in your own club for a long time, you get a little stale. You might even think that all clubs must run the same way as yours since that is what you know. Getting out visiting other clubs, especially in other zones, can be and is, a very eye opening experience. Some clubs run very well, others struggle a bit, but all are there to make their communities a little better, and to help their members grow, and most importantly, to have fun doing it!

Yes, we have our issues in District 1, and we will work through them, we have before, and we will again. We did not get to be the biggest district on the association by not being successful. We have lots of experience in our district, lots of opportunity, lots of ambition, lots of drive, lots of everything that we need. We just have to put it all in gear, head it in the right direction, and off we go!

Thank-you, to all the members of District 1, for the opportunity to serve you these last two years. We will help out Governor Elect Norm and Elaine's team as much as we can next year, and then, who knows. There is lots of opportunity out there, who knows what will happen next!

Thank you, fellow Kin, Presidents for welcoming us at your meetings and special events. It was our honour to attend.

We will see everyone at Kin Kamp and National Convention in Halifax. Keep up the great work, but don't forget to have while fun doing it.
